Advocate Ms. Indrayani Patani, former President, AIFWL



Indrayani Patani is a practicing advocate. She holds a degree of Master of Arts in English literature and Master of Laws besides a Diploma in Cyber Law. She practices mainly in Nasik District Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Mumbai High Court. Her specialization is in Banking Laws, Insurance Laws, Civil Commercial litigation and Family Law. She also handles Mediation and Arbitration cases related to Environment Laws. As past President of AIFWL she organized quite a few seminars on current topics. She organized the National Conference of 2013 at Thane, Mumbai, which was well attended almost about 900 women lawyers from all over the country. She herself participates in legal literacy programmes and writes in periodicals and newspapers specifically on sexual offences against women and effective implementation of law. She has a Diploma in Indian Classical Music and this adds to her personality and gives a musical note to the AIFWL.
